The Raven & Roses Tattoo

Latest work winging its way to a new home.  A new tattoo for someone and the first time I've tackled a raven - I don't know whether I like them or not but enjoying my second tattoo commission.  Extract from the RSPB website "The raven is a big black bird, a member of the crow family. It is massive - the biggest member of the crow family. It is all black with a large bill, and long wings. In flight, it shows a diamond-shaped tail."

Indian Horse

Well it's decision time - do I add colour?  I've also decided to produce about 6 studies of the Indian Horse and develop a range of prints from them so if I should've left it black and white won't be too major a decision as I'll have others to choose from.

My inspiration came from a 'blast from the past' as I had illustrated an Indian Horse before and I thought it would be fun to see if my style has changed.  I made into a greetings card and phone cover and it's available in my shop.

The information - Kirsty Anderson’s botanical collage shows the importance and beauty in all the natural resources of the ocean, focusing on the kelp that Dolphins are known to swim, play and hide in. Clearing The Studio

Blue Shells Painting : Gouache
Psychedelic Circles : Watercolour & Inks
Clearing a studio is always a good idea - refresh renew revive.  It clears the space for new work and gives someone else the opportunity to buy and enjoy all your hard work and pleasure you got from producing it.  Here's a couple that I've held on to for years and have left the studio.  There's an eclectic mix of work still for sale here - WORK FOR SALE
