Folksy was created with the aim of showcasing the work of independent UK artists, designers and crafters. Launched in summer 2007 it has risen to become the main UK based site for crafters.
Unlike other marketplaces they're not funded by debt, and believe in ploughing revenue raised straight back into the business to keep improving it.
