I love the colours of Autumn but I think I'm a summer girl at heart.  Probably the long light days and getting up very early to sunlight.  The studio is so much better with natural light to work in.  When I painted my Greek Summer pattern I obviously had that season in my mind even using blues as the main colour and it's available in many forms on Redbubble.  What's you favourite season? My thought turned to summer when I was working on this alluring mermaid with the 'come hither' look.  Just wishing our summer here in Scotland would last longer than 2 days!  I've created this homage to old school tattoos for men and women so you can feel in a summer mood.  You can also choose your own t-shirt colour.

We've had two lovely days here and about time!  I even got to sit out with my breakfast on our little decking area.  It always makes me want to use lovely summer colours and this is my modern take on a traditional ikat pattern mixing it with contemporary sharp lines.  The art print is available on society6 and I'm working on accessories or, at least, I will be when I get all my hundreds of poppy heads out the garden.  Never had so many in my life!
