Born in  Utrecht, The Netherlands, the now Melbourne-based Marise Mass's work takes inspiration from ordinary everyday things. I love the feeling of childlike wonder and naivety in her work.  Her line drawings are simple and restrained, yet rich with messages, which stem from Marise’s unique intuitive approach to image composition.
