what's happening at 'awoodentree'?

Popped over to my daughter's studio to see what she's been up to.  Such lovely new work being created right now for some exclusive shops in Edinburgh - so pleased!  Here's a few that may be available at her 'awoodentree' store - Miss Bunnies, Mr Jackalope and the wee Mr Narwhal.

Aberdeen Dolphin Auction

Delighted to say that Kirsty's dolphin named 'Kelpie' (Lot 21) sold for £6,500 helping two charities in Aberdeen.  In total the auction raised over £500,000 - fantastic Kirsty!!!

The information - Kirsty Anderson’s botanical collage shows the importance and beauty in all the natural resources of the ocean, focusing on the kelp that Dolphins are known to swim, play and hide in. The seaweed patterns are attached on to the dolphin using a decoupage technique.  Designed by Kirsty Anderson.  Sponsored by Ferryhill House Hotel

Craft Scotland Show

The Craft Scotland Summer Show will be open to the public seven days a week from 2 to 26 August 2013. The show will be presented across the entire second floor of White Stuff on George Street, Edinburgh. I'm delighted to say (and very proud) that Kirsty aka 'awoodentree' has been accepted for the show.
