A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, Jay has designed printed textiles for many years, and takes pride in creating a variety of patterns and designs that are whimsical, eye-catching, and eclectic. “I'm delighted to share my work with the world. I believe my products can deliver a modern style to any house, and make it feel like home,” she explains.
The full range of products available were designed to fit in any room, from living room to nursery, and range in price from £6.95 to just over £75. Jay wanted to ensure Textile Central could fulfill any budget, and offers her art work in multiple sizes. Textile Central is part of a proud tradition with a modern twist.
Textile and pattern creation dates back thousands of years, back to the Stone Ages. Jay's wide range of creations feature bold colours to florals to geometric designs that are easy on the eyes and the wallet. “My designs are very personal and come directly from things I observe in the world. I also love to play with colour and lines to create something that's simple yet beautiful,”
Textile Central's products are available via worldwide shipping and the shop may be accessed at http://society6.com/textilecentral.
